This piece is based on two sets of scriptures.
I love birds, and I love these scriptures in
which Jesus uses birds to describe how precious we are to
God:
Luke 12:6-9
"Are not five sparrows sold for
two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be
afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."
Matthew 6:25 - 34
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about
your life .... Look at the birds of the air; they
do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly
Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
...Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry
about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its
own."
