My boys share a room which is decked out in
fire-engine decor. I thought it would be fun to make a couple of
drawings to hang in their room of them playing like little
fire fighters.
I wanted a loose, child-like feeling to the
drawing. So I chose pen and ink in a half cartoon/ half
realistic style. Then finished it with colored pencils.
I liked the drawing so much - I turned it into
our Christmas card and simply added one more illustration of my
daughter. |
