I've drawn all of my life.  According to my Mom, it began as early as the age of two.  Art to me is a passion.  I can't imagine a world in which I would not be able to draw. I grew up in Montana, and I am inspired by nature and how it relates to us on a personal level.  I am also a Christian and find inspiration within the scriptures of the Bible.
	I left Montana for Seattle to study art.  I graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle in 1999.  I learned many forms of artwork as well as electronic art such as 3D Animation, and web development. After graduation, I worked as a Graphic Artist on a professional level.  The first few years of my career, I worked mostly as a contractor until joining Kinetic Books, a software development company.  Not only was it a great learning experience, It was there that I discovered I loved working with pastels.  I used soft pastels on their chalkboard displays at the office entrance.  A "fluke" project  (nothing I had ever done before) has inspired me to return to my love of picking up a pencil and sketching the old-fashioned way.   I hope you enjoy my website and that I can be of service to you.
